No gi shorts

No gi grappling shorts. Same composition and weight as our rashguards: polyester and elastane at 180 GSM, with a sublimated design.

Waist and fit

Elastic waistband with drawstring. The band adapts to your waist and the drawstring locks it in place, so the shorts hold up through the roll without you having to tie them too tight, which is what ends up bothering you in closed guard and during transitions.

Sizing: the opposite of the rashguard

Here the rule is reversed. With the rashguard you want compression and size down if in doubt; with the shorts, size up. The elastic waistband handles the fit on its own, so what you gain by going one size up is leg range in guards and scrambles.

Sublimation

The design is sublimated, built into the fiber, not printed on top. It doesn't crack or peel with washing, and it adds no thickness or stiffness in the printed area.

Competition

Suitable for competition under IBJJF and AJP rules, except the limited editions.
